Goulash Soup
2 medium onions - chopped
1 clove garlic - chopped
2 bell peppers - 1 red & 1 green - cut into narrow strips
3 medium tomatoes - quartered & blanched to remove skin
1 lb. stew meat cute in bite size pieces
Oil to brown meat 3 tbls. tomato paste
Salt, pepper, paprika to taste
1/2 tsp. caraway seed
1/2 tsp. marjoram
4 cups water
Tobasco sauce
Brown meat in Dutch oven or favorite soup pan.
Add all other ingredients except Tobasco and cook for 45 minutes over medium heat.
Thicken to personal taste with corn starch or flour.
Add a dash of Tobasco just before serving for a little pizzazz!
Great with a tossed green salad & bread!
