Honey Bun Cake
From the kitchen of Grandaddy Mouse & C. Key
1 box yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup brown sugar
3 teaspoons cinnamon
3 cups powdered sugar
3/4 cup milk
Mix the first 4 ingredients and beat for 3 minutes.
Pour 1/2 of the batter into a 9x13 baking dish. Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over the batter in the dish.
Add the remaining batter.
Bake at 325 for 45 to 60 minutes, depending on your oven.
While the cake is still hot, punch holes in it with a fork or chop stick. Mix together the vanilla, powdered sugar and the milk. Pour the mixture over the cake.
If you like icing, you can drizzle a bit of confectioners sugar glaze over the top, but this cake is so moist that you really don't need icing. It gets better the longer it sits, but please store in a cool place because of the eggs & milk.
